Etched Sounds consists of Peter Mayne and Jean-David Caillouët. Peter has worked as a professional composer for 15 years which has seen him use a wide variety of virtual instruments creating styles of music from around the globe, for advertising, television and production music. Upon completion of his PhD at Edinburgh University, Jean-David (JD) relocated to Thailand where he became Lecturer at the Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music, and Silpakorn University. JD has recorded extensively throughout Southeast Asia and the world, from location recordings for film to quartets and larger ensembles in concert halls.
