Antidrum 2 is a deep collection of unique real-world sounds, objects and instruments in all shapes and sizes (including human-shaped). You’ll find a wide variety of sound sources, including finger snaps, radio transmissions, baritone sax phrases, reverberant junk percussion, boom-whackers, tuned water glasses, farts and other bodily functions, pvc didgeridoos and plumbing pipe megahorns, rainstick, metal bars, soda bottles, stopwatch, thunder drum, slinky, trash cans, water bowls, sound-designed drum kits, atmospheres and more. We’ve taken these sources – both common and strange – and subjected them to our full toolbox of UI control features for Kontakt 5.5 (or later), sound design and sonic manipulation techniques to explore every nuance and turn each one into a fully playable and flexible instrument concept that you can play and use in nearly any track, soundscape, video game and film sound mix.
Antidrum 2 offers you deep control features and a full rack of multi-effects and performance tools, like a dynamic step-sequencable Arpeggiator and convolution reverb with 70 different halls, rooms, spaces and FX. And we’ve also created a new collection of sound-designed ambient pads, leads, atmospheres, crafted from the raw source recordings to provide excellent accompaniment and texture to fatten your mixes.
The custom scripted Kontakt user interface built into this library comes equipped with flexible control features, like attack, release, transient offset, dynamic swelling, filter type selection, resonant filter sweep and a robust Arpeggiator system that provides a full range of custom dynamic modes and step sequencer pattern creation options. There’s also a complete DSP effects rack, including convolution reverb with dozens of unique spaces, such as cathedrals, churches, halls, bunkers, garages, tunnels, chambers, rooms and plenty of otherworldly FX impulses to fully explore and endless variety of strange and unexpected sonic manipulations.

This is a standard Kontakt open-format library, so the free Kontakt Player do not fully support it and can only run it in a time-limited “demo mode”. However, the sample directories are unlocked so you can use them in other wav-compatible software, sampler and synth formats. The special Libraries tab doesn’t support this open-format Kontakt library, but you can use the standard File browser tab, or import it into the Kontakt database and Quickload tools for easy navigation, loading and organization.
The full retail version of Native Instruments Kontakt version 5.5 (or later) is required to use .nki instrument presets included in this library. The free Kontakt “Player” and “Add Library” import process do not support this standard open-format Kontakt library. Windows 7 or higher. Mac OSX 10.8 or higher. Dual Core CPU, 2 GB System Ram, SATA or SSD hard drive recommended for this library. This software is delivered as a digital download, so a broadband connection is required. All sales are final. Please see our Help Page for download and installation instructions, tutorials and the End User Licensing Agreement before ordering.
Antidrum 2 can expand your sonic pallet in very unique and quirky ways. A great set of tools for those scoring for picture or looking for a original edge to their compositions.

I especially enjoy the interesting and unique percussion instruments from SoundIron - everything from Iron Throne and Bamboo Sticks to AntiDrum and the Rust series.
