A “one-and-a-half trick pony” of a virtual bass guitar intended for R&B, hip-hop and laid back groovy styles in general.
The samples are of a Killer Simmony, which is pretty much a Jazz style bass with 24 frets and a different body shape, strung with flatwound strings and tuned in fifths.

The Beefowulf Bass was created as a more “fitting” bass for hip-hop than the Secret Agent Bass.
This bass guitar sample library for Plogue Sforzando has a much warmer sound – different strings and not plucked as hard.
It’s something of a one-and-a-half trick pony. No slap, no hammer-ons, no sampling every fret on every string. Instead you get ghost notes, regular and phat plucks, and six velocity layers on the regular plucks. So, there’s detailed sampling where I think it’s important for the way I’d play tracks in this style in real life. It adds up to over 2400 samples and 1.2 GB.
