Power Riffer - Epic Power Chords for Kontakt

Power Riffer was not created for passages or hard solos, we didn’t have to record each note separately, and then write a complex script that would mimic the guitarist playing.

We immediately recorded the guitarist and the necessary chords!

Thanks to this, Power Riffer does not imitate a guitar, but is a real recorded guitar.

  • Use the DI-Box channel for playing through the well-known to you VST amplifiers
  • Get the double track from the box, so as not to create unnecessary tracks in your DAW project
  • Use presets so as not to be distracted from creative work by the settings of the amplifier or the cabinet
  • Now you have a guitarist who gets into the rhythm perfectly, doesn’t make mistakes, sounds great and does it from the first take

Features

  • Automatic and Manual playing mode: In the automatic mode, the script will independently choose which technique to use when change a chord (slide up, slide down, pull-off or hammer-on). In the manual mode, you choose how the chord will be rearranged.
  • Double track mode: The activation of this mode allows you to send two different takes of recording the same guitar part to the left and the right channel at the same time.
  • Audio source switch: In the DI-Box position, the library will play the pure guitar sound recorded in line through the DI-Box. In this mode, you can use together with the library a VST plug-in that you usually use to emulate guitar cabinets and amplifiers.

    I was a bit skeptical at first. The video I saw seemed to be hiding the instrument, instead of showing it off. I took a chance and without reading the manual managed to figure out what to do, and more importantly, get a sound that I wanted.
