For the Toy Guitar, we sampled the strings at the head of an electric guitar, before the beginning of the fretboard.
The sound was captured with two close mics, as well as a contact mic.
The FX mic is a heavily processed line signal from the guitar’s pickups.
Each note has three round robins and two dynamic layers.
