Hadzi-Fia - Solo Male Vocals from Ghana

Hadzi-Fia is a solo male vocal sample library recorded in Ghana by Karoryfer Samples. The vocalist was recorded singing in the Ewe language, which is the main language of Ghana.

The vocalist was sampled singing seven vowels, fifteen syllables and hummed “mmm” sustains.

True legato was sampled for all sustatins with controllable vibrato and an experimental growl patch. There is also a “unison” option which simulates the sound of three singers.

Recorded in 24bit/44.1kHz with over 5,000 samples, this is a very unique West African vocal library and comes in SFZ format meaning it can be used in the free “Sforzando” player from Plogue without any additional software required.
