Meet Kristin Naigus

All samples for Horror Flute were recorded by Kristin Naigus (Field of Reeds). Kristin is one of the premiere woodwind recording artists for video game and film soundtracks.

Her credits include Avatar: The Last Airbender, Mortal Kombat 1, Ori and the Blind Forest, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Steven Universe, Immortals Fenyx Rising, ABZÛ, Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, and many more.

Kristin is paid a fair royalty every time this library is purchased.

Inspired by Dark Dice

The core reason that Horror Flute exists in the first place is thanks to Dark Dice, the #1 fiction podcast in the world, who originally hired Steven Melin to record musicians for custom soundtrack music.

As part of the composing process, Steven converted these recordings into Kontakt instruments, which became the foundation for what is now Simple Samples Audio.

The Dark Dice team is paid a fair royalty every time this library is purchased.
